“I waited for 24 years before having a child,” Doyin Hassan reveals as he speaks about his former marriages.

Popular veteran actor and producer Doyin Hassan has opened up about the birth of his newborn baby and his previous marriages. He talked about how he had this child after waiting for 24 years.

The actor shared photos of himself, his wife, and their newborn baby on his Instagram page, where they were seen in church for Thanksgiving and dedication. Sharing the photos, he noted that God is faithful and expressed gratitude to the almighty for giving him his daughter, who is a blessing after trying for 24 years. The actor added that his new-born daughter is a great testimony to God’s faithfulness.

Following this, blogs have been posting on Doyin Hassan, revealing details about his previous marriages and how he was the reason they didn’t have a child for 24 years. He stated that his wife isn’t barren, but he was the one who couldn’t father a child. He also talked about his two previous marriages, saying that his former wives died after 8.5 years and 10 years of marriage, respectively.

He stated that his present wife is actually his third wife, adding that they married in December 2020, after the deaths of his former wives.

My testimony about 24 years of waiting has been misunderstood in certain quarters. The testimony was about me, not the woman I married. I first got married on June 5, 1999, and lost two Precious women to the cold hands of death over time. I married Adeola Doyin-Hassan in June 1999 and lost Her 8.5 Years After (February 20, 2008, On Her Birthday), I Waited For 2 Years Before I Remarried Bolanle Doyin-hassan In April 2010. Bolanle passed in December 2020, and I waited 1 year, 7 months, before I remarried in October 2022. My new wife was not barren for 24 years. I Was The One Who Shared A Testimony Of My Tears And Toils For 24 Years. Meeting Oladunni was God’s redirection of my divine journey. I Hope This Is Clear Enough…God’s Blessings”.

Doyin Hassan is not the only celebrity who welcomed a new-born baby this year after years of waiting.

In February this year, Adeniyi Johnson and his wife, Seyi Edun, welcomed twins after 7 years of waiting. Of course, that can’t be compared to 24 years of waiting, but 7 years is still a long time.

After the birth of their twins, the couple couldn’t wait to dedicate them to the church, as their birth was a testimony. The couple recalled the times they were mocked due to the fact that they couldn’t bear a child for 7 years. There was nothing they couldn’t do to be blessed with a child; they went to herbalists for help, and they also sought help from God and couldn’t give up on begging God for his blessings. And after staying true to God and believing in his working wonders, they were blessed with bouncing baby twins.

There was another celebrity who was blessed with a child after years of waiting. In April of this year, actress Biola Bayo welcomed her first child into the world by sharing photos of her son’s feet on Instagram.

Sharing the photos on Instagram, she shared a story about her painful journey so that she could experience motherhood. She revealed how she had a failed IVF and surrogate circle, as well as an additional 3 failed surrogate attempts, two years before she was finally blessed with a son.
