I am 41 but still single: Ini Edo Says

“I am 41 and but still single”—Actress Ini Edo Says”

Popular Nigerian actress and producer, Ini Edo, reveals why she is still single at age 41, and she reveals this in a recent interview.

The popular actress revealed why she is still single during an interview on Toke Makinwa’s podcast, Toke  Moments, saying that she is still single because she wants to be with someone who truly loves her.

The actress added that she’s not a picky person, as she doesn’t look at anything fancy in a partner; all she needs is someone who respects her, someone who protects her, and also someone who she’s safe with.

She added that the only thing she looks for in a man is safety and respect—not any respect but true respect—and that he must also be in love with her, as that is the most important criteria. The actress also voiced her opinion about the difference between loving someone and being willing to commit to them.

She stated that she doesn’t really care about her partner’s financial status but just needs someone she can go through life challenges with. Her interview with Toke Makinwa didn’t end there because she also talked about why men are afraid of successful women.

She said in the interview:

“I am still single because I just want somebody who would really love me. That’s all. I’m not asking for too much. It’s not like I don’t see love. To fall in love with someone and he reciprocate the love is very different things. You can love someone, but you are not ready to be committed. This could be the reason i remain single, I won’t involved myself in bad and violence relationship.

If you can’t accord me that sense of respect which in turn makes me to respect you, It is not possible for me to associate myself with such a man that I found difficult to respect. If you cannot earn my respect, then there is no way we can be together. Because there is no point. When it gotten to a point that I normally disrespect you, that means you have brought yourself down to a point where i won’t ever regards you. Sometimes, it’s not even about having money. It all about managing situations and how you showed love and kindness to the people around you!”
